inboard maintenance

Maintenance is essential, whether you sail a lot or a little. When your boat has been stationary for a long time and you then go on holiday, major problems often arise. Fuel left in a tank for too long can cause problems due to condensation or deterioration resulting in engine failure. We check fuel filters, fuel tank and check the engine.  

Maintenance work (Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, PCM, Indra)

• Replace engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter(s);

• Check / replace spark plug(s), valve clearance, cooling;

• Check / replace impeller / cooling water pump;

• Replace tailpiece oil;

• Control screw and grease screw shaft, anodes;

• Lubricate grease points;

• Check and test run engine.
